Will Bowles is a 2019 RHP/MIF with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Mechanicsville, VA who attends Hanover HS. Recorded a 7.74 second 60-yard dash time. Lean, athletic frame with room to fill out for additional strength. Primary righthanded pitcher with a short rocker step into a leg lift at the belt. Quick tempo with a quick and compact delivery. Creates deception and messes with opposing hitters' timing. Tough to pick up the ball out of the hand. Carries weight and momentum down the mound well. Gets good extension out in front with good arm speed. Clears his hops well and throws from an extended three-quarter arm slot. Curveball has 9/4 sweeping action with late bite and depth to it. Secondary infielder with a clean glove and accurate throws. Quality actions at the position with arm strength up to 82 mph across. Secondary first baseman with athleticism and feel for the position. Hands work well with quick turns and accurate throws. Righthanded hitter with a spread open stance. Leg lift trigger into contact with a short swing. Quickness to hands and flashed feel for the barrel. Line drive swing plane and utilizes lower half well through contact. Tremendous student.
