Harrison Leonard is a 2019 SS/RHP/IF with a 6-0 185 lb. frame from Jamestown, RI who attends Avon Old Farms HS. Large, athletic frame with good projection remaining. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.31 seconds. Hits from slightly crouched stance with high hand set, shows big bat speed with strength at contact, peppered the wall in BP with firm liners, consistent barrel skills with present extra base power, projects for more. Worked out in the infield, fluid actions to and through the ball, soft hands out front with clean glove overall, shows good arm strength with throws clocked up to 86 mph. Also pitched, hooked arm stroke through back with some rigidity, very good arm speed, touched 88 mph and worked in the 82-86 mph range with fastball, shows curveball with good depth and slider with frisbee bite, good three pitch mix with an idea of the strike zone, legitimate two way prospect. Excellent student, named to 2017 Main Event Showcase Top Prospect List.
