Tommy Lentz is a 2014 RHP/OF with a 6-1 185 lb. frame from Farmington Hills, MI who attends Brother Rice HS. Medium to large athletic build, room to get stronger. Pitches from the stretch, 3/4's arm slot with long extended arm action, some downhill plane, tends to be inconsistent with timing coming through and release point. Fastball to 82 mph, gets good sink down in the zone, made adjustments in later innings to work down consistently. Flashes some 11/5 curveball depth, occasionally gets on the side for flatter shape, fair spin. Some feel for change up with good sink at times, throws change up for strikes. Has pitching tools develop with more consistency. Right handed hitter, long rotational swing, busy load, has some strength when squared up, showed his arm strength in the outfield. Good student.
