Mark Diapoules is a 2006 RHP from Martin County High School in Palm City, FL, with a 6'3'', 190 lb. frame. He has a tall, strong, and durable body on the mound. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a short arm arch in the back similar to Keith Foulke. Diapoules has a nice and easy arm action with an online delivery and good arm speed. He throws a heavy fastball at 87 mph with cutting action and sink. His fastball jumps on the hitters and they don't get good swings. Diapoules throws a hard and tight slider that he buries low in the zone, and he also mixes in a curveball with more depth. He induces a great number of ground balls, and he will break many wood bats in his days on the mound. Diapoules works quickly on the mound with good tempo and defenders will love to play behind him. He has good present stuff with great upside. He is a very good student as well.
