Luke Buda is a 2024 LHP/OF with a 5-10 150 lb. frame from Holmdel, NJ who attends Holmdel. Buda was certainly a fun watch as the primary LHP utilized one of the better knuckleballs you'll see at the high school level, almost completely eliminating spin at 1017 rpm. He worked from the full windup displaying a compact operation and over the top slot with the ability to sequence his arsenal effectively and keep hitters off balance. He ultimately topped out at 80 mph with a solid breaker also in the mix flashing steep 12-6 movement. Buda commanded well and has further room to physically develop and see the velocity ceiling increase. Ran a 5.48 forty yard dash. Named to Top Prospect List.
