Juan Martinez is a 2022 1B/3B with a 6-2 185 lb. frame from Oak Hills, CA who attends Oak Hills. Features a larger frame with strength throughout. Ran a 7.46 60-yard. Flashed some athleticism throughout first base drills. Will need to continue to work on quickness of fielding actions. Caught the ball fairly well with solid glove actions. Showcased a solid arm that is playable for the position. Simple setup at the plate with apparent athleticism. Quiet load with minimal movement allows for swing to be on timing consistently. Creates leverage that helps drive the ball with authority. Looks to do damage with swings and backed it up throughout BP round. Has power bat potential. Very good student, as well.
