Anderson is a primary pitcher who showed arm strength and pitching ability. He showed most of his arm strength in the field but left enough for us to watch him throw 3 good pitches, mostly for strikes too. His fastball was in the 82-84 mph range and topped out at 85. This was after we saw him throw 87 mph from the outfield. But we know what he has in him and can project his stuff easily with his arm and delivery. He comes from a high 3/4 arm slot and looked nice and strong from his delivery. His curveball was looking good with 70-72 mph velocity and nice rotation and late downward action. Maybe an even better pitch was his slider which we saw only limited at 77-79 mph and quickly running away from right-handed hitters. He knows how to pitch and we plan to watch him closely. With the bat he even showed nice bat-speed and wall power. We are not sure where he will end up but wherever it may be, he will be a high level player.
