Softball Instructor Bios:
Kaylin Kinney: 2018-19 Gatorade Iowa Softball Player of the Year. University of Nebraska Commit. Currently a senior at Cedar Rapids Kennedy High School. Recorded over 40 career wins as a pitcher. Known as one of the most feared hitters in the country.
Mallory Neubauer: Softball Hitting Instructor - I graduated from Clear Creek Amana where I was a four-year letter winner and part of 4 state appearances; one of those appearances was a State Championship. I was coached by the best softball coach in the state, Jim White. After high school, I attended Kirkwood Community College where I was coached by Joe Yegge. In both of my years at Kirkwood we were conference champs, district champs, and we played in the NJCAA National Tournament. After Kirkwood, I played for Coach Lou Yacinich at Grand View University where we were conference champs and played in the NAIA National Tournament both of my years there. I would consider myself a utility player because I have played just about every position on the field. I have previous experience giving hitting lessons and two summers worth of umpiring under my belt. Now that I’m retired, I am excited to share my softball knowledge with young softball players who want to be the best!
