2021 Top Prospects

Josh Heath  1B - 2021 - Lewisburg, PA
West Virginia

Heath is an immensely strong 6-2/210 left handed hitter and the ball absolutely explodes off his barrel. He currently shows a middle away approach at the plate and rarely looks to turn the barrel at all to pull the ball but will have top of the scale raw power when he learns this skill.

Ben Higdon  OF - 2021 - Paducah, KY
Kentucky/John A. Logan College

Higdon is a very toolsy outfield with a strong outfield arm that also registered 86 mph off the mound. He's a legit switch-hitter with similar approaches and bat speed from both sides of the plate and had 94 impact velocity in drills.

Ryan Kirkendall  SS - 2021 - Hamilton, OH
Washington University (Missouri)

Kirkendall ran a 7.02 and has a projectable 6-1/170 middle infielder's body but his best present tool/skill was his right handed bat. He has a very short and direct simple swing approach that consistently squares up the ball and enough speed and strength in his hands to get the ball to jump hard.

John Holobetz  RHP - 2021 - Kaska, PA
Radford

Holobetz has a very projectable 6-3/170 build and a loose arm with a long arm swing and easy release out front. He worked up to 86 mph with good life to his fastball and showed command of the pitch as well. He also threw a slider and change up.

Isaac Rose  LHP - 2021 - Bremen, KY
Kentucky Wesleyan

The 6-0/165 Rose worked up to 86 mph on his fastball from a mid 3/4's arm slot and showed the ability to create deception by intentionally going lower at times. His curveball flashed good spin and he threw strikes with all his pitches.

Patrick Ilitch  C - 2021 - Detroit, MI
Valparaiso

Ilitch is a very strong young athlete at 6-1/190 but showed very good speed for his size and for being a primary catcher at 6.99. He has a strong arm behind the plate and some power potential as a right handed hitter.

Grant Smeltzer  RHP - 2021 - York, PA
Fairfield

Smeltzer is a strong and mature athlete with a strong right arm. He topped out at 87 mph from a compact over the top arm action that created big downhill angle to his fastball.

2022 Top Prospects

Luke Zeisloft  OF - 2022 - Bloomsburg, PA
Maryland

Zeisloft ran a 6.76 in the sixty and showed solid arm strength in the outfield but really stood out at the plate. He had a pair of doubles and a triple in one game, squaring the ball up to all three fields to show the balance in his swing approach.

Adam Dembowski  OF - 2022 - Gibsonia, PA
Uncommitted

Dembowski showed a nice balance of athletic tools that will all keep improving, including 6.92 speed, a long and loose arm action and plenty of right handed bat speed.

2023 Top Prospects

Cole Cahill  1B - 2023 - Westerville, OH
Toledo

Cahill has a slender and very projectable 6-3/165 build and as smooth and loose a left handed swing as one is likely to see in a player this age. He's going to be fun to watch over the next few years as he gains strength and fills out physically.

Braedyn Moore  SS - 2023 - Hamilton, OH
Uncommitted

Moore has all the physical tools to be a high level prospect as he fills out his 6-1/165 build. He's a middle of the field athlete with 7.00 speed and present right handed bat speed.

Tyler Minnick  C - 2023 - Marietta, GA
Georgia Tech

Minnick looks the part with a very athletic 6-3/190 build and despite his present size, looks like he'll be a defensive standout behind the plate. He's explosive coming out of crouch and also has plenty of raw arm strength to go with his athletic quickness.

Carson Dunn  OF - 2023 - Fishers, IN
Uncommitted

Dunn is a quick twitch athlete who ran a 6.78 sixty and showed some of the quickest hands of any hitter at the event. Although it's currently a line drive approach, Dunn has the strength to get present carry and there is some power in his future.

Cooper Angilly  C - 2023 - Virginia Beach, VA
Rhodes College

Angilly stood out for a young catcher with his defensive quickness and athleticism behind the plate. He was a wall on pitches in the dirt regardless of whether there were baserunners and played the game with energy and enthusiasm.
