2011 Top Prospects

Grayson Greiner  C - 2011 - Blythewood, SC
South Carolina

A 2011 grad that is already verbally committed to South Carolina, Grayson was the top prospect at the event. At 6'5”, 195 pounds, Grayson is very projectable and has the chance to hit for big raw power. Defensively Grayson has a big arm with a quick release and posted a 1.81 pop time during the workout.

Gary LeClair  OF - 2011 - Richmond, VA
VMI

LeClair was arguably the top fast-twitch athlete at the event with 6.79 sixty speed and big raw hitting tools to work with. He has quick hands and good bat speed and has the chance to hit for power down the road.

Alex Roberts  RHP - 2011 - Myrtle Beach, SC
Newberry

Roberts was arguably the top pitching prospect at the event with a long and loose arm action and a fastball that touched 86. His best-pitch is a nasty 10-4 slider which is a true out-pitch.

Jaesung Hwang  RHP - 2011 - Cumming, GA
Lipscomb

A talented two-way prospect, Jaesung has a bright future on the mound or in the infield. The 2011 grad touched 86 on the mound with a tight 12-6 curveball and a plus change-up. He drives the ball hard consistently at the plate and is a smooth defender in the field.

Sean Larkin  RHP - 2011 - Royersford, PA
Uncommitted

A 2011 grad, Sean was one of the most projectable players at the event at 6'3”, 157 lbs. He has a short compact arm action and touched 84 with a tight 11-5 curveball. His arm works well and it is easy to see him adding a good amount of velocity down the road.

Jared Lyons  LHP - 2011 - Yorktown, VA
Liberty University

A 2011 grad, Jared shows a quality three-pitch mix with a tight 1-7 curveball and a good feel for a change-up. His arm works well and he touched 82 with his fastball, but it is easy to see more left in him.

2012 Top Prospects

Will Hurt  SS - 2012 - Lexington, KY
Coastal Carolina

A 2012 gard, Will has the chance to be one of the better MIF prospects in his class. He has sound infield actions with a strong arm and quick release. Will posted a 6.93 sixty and has an advanced feel for hitting.

Martin Koon  1B - 2012 - Wilkesboro, NC
College of Charleston

A 2012 grad, Martin put on an absolute show during batting practice hitting three homeruns in a row. He has plus strength and bat speed and showed raw power that would rate near the top of his class.
