Nishiba showcased quality athleticism that played well on both sides of the ball. The infielder displayed solid range in both directions with confident hands that work through hops well. A balanced swing with a linear path produced quality contact back up the middle consistently.

Carlos Pena  3B - 2026 - Riverside, CA

Pena put together a strong, well-rounded performance throughout the event. The righthander showcased a mid-70’s fastball and some feel for a curveball. The arm strength translated across the diamond during infield workouts, throwing 76 mph. Strength to the frame and lofted path through the zone allowed balls to be driven when barreled up.


2027 Top Prospects

Asher Wright  OF - 2027 - Irvine, CA

Wright put together an impressive performance showing throughout the event with strong two-way ability was apparent. The lefthander recorded the top fastball velocity at 79 mph while showing the ability to land breaking balls for strikes. At the plate, a strong frame helped produce the top exit velocity at the event.

Owen Digenan  SS - 2027 - Poway, CA

Digenan showcased quality two-way ability throughout the event. The righthander ran the fastball up to 78 mph with some feel for a changeup and curveball. Solid athleticism showed well during infield workouts, while the bat produced in-game throughout.

Eli Leone  SS - 2027 - Las Vegas, NV

Leone put together a strong weekend with athleticism showing on both sides of the ball. Quick feet on the infield allowed for good range in both directions with consistent glove actions. A short swing with loose hands produced solid contact that played to all fields.

Joaquin Ojeda  RHP - 2027 - Van Nuys, CA

Ojeda impressed during his outing on the mound. The righthander ran the fastball up to 75 mph with quality armside run. Feel for the curveball stood out for the age, landing it for strikes regularly.

Aze Martinez  C - 2027 - Moreno Valley, CA

Martinez was a steady performer throughout the weekend. The infielder displayed advanced actions for the age with soft hands and sound footwork. At the plate, good bat to ball skills and the ability to use the entire field allowed for quality contact consistently.

Joshua Garcia  C - 2027 - Shawnee, KS

Garcia showed the ability to use a strong frame well at the plate, producing hard contact to the pullside throughout batting practice. A quick transfer behind the plate resulted in a pop time of 2.02 seconds.
