2027 Top Prospects

Blake Lamattina  RHP - 2027 - Chesterfield, VA

Lamattina may have been the most impressive prospect in attendance with tons to like across all he did. He was very balanced in his infield drills showing good range and arm strength while offensively it's a clean and balanced swing with looseness and tons to project on. Add in that he was up to 75 on the mound with easy arm speed and real feel for 3 pitches and you've got an exciting young prospect.

Alejandro Cabral  SS - 2027 - Pembroke Pines, FL

Cabral may have been the best pure athlete in attendance and the talent doesn't stop there. Chambers made his presence known all over the diamond during game action. He was up to 74 mph with the fastball while showing real feel for 3 pitches that allowed him to strike out a bunch while there's also quality strength in the swing and overall athleticism that gives him some defensive versatility moving forward.

Henry Leslie  RHP - 2027 - Jacksonville, FL

Leslie is one of the more physically advanced players of the group and the projection is there at a lean 6-1/160 as he worked up to 74 mph with the fastball creating good downward angle to the plate and showing some firmness to the breaking ball.

Brock Holcombe  OF - 2027 - Evans, GA

Holcombe has some arm strength having been clocked up to 70 mph from the outfield but the intent he swings with in the box and the strength he showed off the barrel on a long triple the other way during game both bode well for his offensive success.

Ricky Maschinot  C - 2027 - Cincinnati, OH
