2022 Top Prospects

Jose Molina  3B - 2022 - Barranquitas, PR
San Jacinto CC

Molina already looks like a pro with a 6-foot-2, 189-pound frame featuring a ton of strength. He had throws in the low-90s from both the infield and outfield while the batting practice was loud and carried over with a pair of triples in game.

Alex Pereira  C - 2022 - Hialeah, FL
Uncommitted

Pereira has quality arm strength behind the dish with throws up to 78 mph while the batting practice is loud, showing off really impressive bat speed and a lot of juice to the middle of the field.

Cory Filley  C - 2022 - Dade City, FL
Santa Fe College

Filley looks the part on the diamond at a strong 6-1/200 and the tools match. He's got a strong arm behind the dish clocked up to 80 mph out of the crouch while he really gets to the strength well at the plate with good lift and extension while maintaining controlled violence through impact.

Armani Newton  OF - 2022 - Fort Pierce, FL
Florida Gulf Coast

Newton is a projectable 6-2/185 outfielder who ran a solid 6.91 sixty and showed ease to his actions in the outfield, but impressed most with the bat as he stays simple to impact and lets the strength in his hands produce good carry to either gap.

Grant Gilooly  SS - 2022 - Palm City, FL
Bethune-Cookman

Gilooly is a smooth athlete as he runs well and the athleticism translates to the infield where he moves around with ease and comfort. Offensively it's a quick bat and he's on plane more than he's not allowing him to produce in-game with a good bit of consistency.

Adrian Salas Rivera  C - 2022 - Aguadilla, PR
Miami-Dade College

Salas Rivera is a very good athlete behind the dish and has explosive actions resulting in a 1.90 second pop time in drills. The arm plays well and it's a simple, line drive oriented offensive approach too.

Abner Rodriguez  C - 2022 - Cayey, PR
Uncommitted

Rodriguez showed some of the best catch and throw skills at the event as he popped down to a 1.85 with 79 mph arm strength, but the offensive profile is strong too as he has fast hands, can get the ball in the air and generates good jump off the barrel.

Charlie Duffy  3B - 2022 - Treasure Island, FL
Limestone

Duffy is a primary third baseman with a good handle of the barrel at the dish, but he impressed immensely on the mound as he worked in the mid-80s with not much effort while showing true swing-and-miss traits to a well-tunneled slider into the mid-70s.

Neile Thomas  RHP - 2022 - Deerfield Beach, FL
Uncommitted

Thomas has a quality three pitch mix and is a physical overall prospect. The fastball worked in the 80-84 mph range coupled with a firmer slider along with a changeup that he absolutely kills spin on.

2023 Top Prospects

Eric Correa  OF - 2023 - Carolina, PR
Rice

Correa has some of the best arm strength of the entire event with throws up to 92 mph from the outfield. The left-handed swing produces easy bat speed and he's got a pro skill set moving foward.

Aidan McBride  RHP - 2023 - Debary, FL
State College of Florida

McBride ran his fastball up to 88 mph while living in the mid-80s and posits some intriguing upside. The arm is long and loose in the back with quickness while there's also a good feel to spin the ball.

Christopher Carroll  OF - 2023 - Miami, FL
Dayton

Carroll is a terrific athlete who ran a 6.83 second that gives him the speed to play all over the diamond. There's looseness and bat speed to the swing and the knack for the barrel carried over nicely into game action.

Derek Lopez  C - 2023 - Windermere, FL
Florida Gulf Coast

Lopez was one of the better all-around athletes at the event and the tools translate well to game. He's a solid runner, showed quick feet and a strong arm behind the dish, worked up to 86 mph with life on the mound and showed good jump off the barrel with the strength he possesses.

Ryan Hunter  OF - 2023 - Miramar, FL
Memphis

Hunter is a projectable 6-0/170 but he already has tools that stand out. He moves well, was clocked up to 87 mph on throws from the outfield and has the tools for success at the dish as he gets extended and separated well while showing good bat speed and some impact strength.

Keegan Zinn  RHP - 2023 - Clermont, FL
Liberty University

Zinn showed legitimate upside on the mound over the course of short outing as he worked in the mid-80s on the fastball, topping at 87 mph, and showed comfort spinning a sharp breaking ball that could give him an out-pitch long term as he refines command of the overall mix.

Austin Manar  OF - 2023 - Parkland, FL
Uncommitted

Manar is very projectable at 6-1/150 and is a solid athlete with some tools already. He was clocked up to 83 mph with ease from the outfield while also showing some aggressiveness in how he swings the bat with good extension.

Jake Larson  LHP - 2023 - Ponte Vedra, FL
Lander

Larson is a classic projection left-hander with good athleticism and a complete three pitch mix. The fastball topped out at 80 mph with good arm side run while there's excellent feel to spin and land while the changeup is more than an effective third pitch.

2024 Top Prospects

Alejandro Ludeiro  C - 2024 - Pembroke Pines, FL
Lipscomb

Ludeiro is a well-rounded catching prospect with good physicality, catch and throw skills, and strength off the barrel. It's a power approach in all facets and it plays well for him.

Maurice Maiquez  C - 2024 - Miami Gardens, FL
Tallahassee CC

Maiquez looks the part at 6-0/180 and that physicality plays very well into the swing as he works under control without much effort but can still get the bat head out with authority as he flicks the wrists hard and produces good consistent jump off the barrel.

Mike Palenzuela  LHP - 2024 - Miami, FL
Barry

Palenzuela has some physicality already and it plays well in his game as he was up to 82 mph from the outfield and showed good consistency swinging the bat from the left side with some jump off the barrel to the pull side.
