1-Black vs 2-Orange Game Highlights

Ryan McKee (2023, Athens, TX) lined a single over the leaping third baseman to get the orange team on the board early to kick off Thursday’s game action. McKee has continued to showcase line-drive impact to the pull side, using his strong lower half to generate torque. 

 

Alexander Trapani (2025, New York, NY) lined a single back up the middle in his first trip to the plate, displaying some quickness in his hands at he got the bat head out to the point of contact. 

 

Michael Gagliardi (2023, Buchanan, NY) ambushed a fastball on the inner half, shooting a hard grounder through the left side of the infield. Gagliardi continues to display high bat-to-ball skills with exceptional feel for the barrel. 

 

Elijah Tradigo (2024, Bordentown, NJ) produced a loud barrel during his first at-bat, sending a screamer through the left side, utilizing a quick, compact stroke that packs a punch at impact. 

 

Alex Winters (2024, Princeton, NJ) dumped a single into left to bring home another run for the orange team. Displaying a keen eye at the plate, Winters didn’t expand the zone and worked the count into his favor. 

 

Christopher Utech (2024, Moreland Hills, OH) blooped a single over the first baseman’s heading, bringing home the first run for the black squad. Showing off the athleticism, Utech swiped second, coming home to score the following pitch on a double in the gap. In his next at-bat, Utech would line one just over the third baseman’s head for an RBI-double, continuing to display strong feel for the barrel. 

 

Dominic Rivara (2023, Lake Worth, FL) ripped an RBI-double into center to tie things up at 2 in the bottom half of the second. Rivara has continued to impact the baseball producing loud barrels using his large 6-foot-4, 210-pound frame to generate torque through the zone. 

 

Nick Andersen (2024, Framingham, MA) scorched a triple over the left fielder’s head. Showing great barrel control as he took the pitch on the outer half and squared it up. Using his long levers to create lift, Andersen utilizes a lofted stroke and has shown a heavy barrel at times throughout the showcase. 

 

D’Angelo Rodriguez (2025, Woodcliff Lake, NJ) smoked a double into the gap during his third trip to the plate. Rodriguez has continued to display juice to the gaps with present strength to his hands that create barrel whip through the zone. Showing two-way potential, Rodriguez worked up to 80 mph on the bump with some life to his fastball as he generated some whiffs during his two innings of work.

Batting Practice Highlights

Michael Damato (2022 3B, Manchester, NJ) impressed throughout his round with his ability to impact the baseball through the middle-of-the field with authority. He uses a loose, leveraged stroke with plenty of lower half torque and present bat speed. He has legitimate power potential from gap-to-gap and was consistently on the barrel.  

Nick Andersen (2024 OF, Framingham, MA) was extremely consistent throughout his round, as the smooth left-handed hitting outfielder found the barrel quite often. He implores a loose, lofted stroke with plenty of present bat speed and good feel for the barrel. The uncommitted 2024 has immense power potential and will continue to expand his overall hit tool as he adds more strength. 

Christopher Utech (2024 OF, Moreland Hills, OH) was impressive with his ability to find the barrel, as the 2024 Ohio native sprayed numerous line drives all over the field. He stays short and simple to the baseball and uses his lower half well to generate bat speed. 

Dominic Rivara (2023 C, Lake Worth, FL) used his hulking 6-foot-four, 210-pound frame to loudly impact the baseball throughout his round. He incorporates his strong lower half to create leverage out-front and has good feel for the barrel. He exhibited power potential from gap-to-gap and showcased a sound overall swing. 

D'Angelo Rodriguez (2025 OF, Woodcliff Lake, NJ) stayed consistent throughout his round, sending numerous line drives to the middle-of-the field. The athletically built outfielder implores a flatter, more direct bat path but delivers it on-time frequently. He generated some impact at times and project for more power moving forward.

Macai Moore (2024 1B, Piscataway, NJ) is a physical presence at the plate with good feel for the barrel and strength in his hands. He stays relatively simple with his swing and generates plenty of bat speed. He displays legitimate power to all fields when on-time and in-sync. 

Evan Gaffney (2023 1B, Seabrook, NH) was mightily impressive throughout his round, as the left-handed hitting first baseball consistently peppered the baseball to the middle and pullsides of the field. He creates plenty of bat speed and uses his lower well to stay balanced. He showcased some long term power potential to the pullside with several long drives during his round.

Jake Arnow (2023 C, Edison, NJ) showcased big-time power throughout his round, as the strongly built backstop launched several balls to the deepest parts of the park. He stays simple and direct with his barrel, has extremely strong hands and uses his lower half exceptionally well to create leverage. 

Ryan McKee (2023 RHP, Athens, TX) displayed some of the better bat speed and strength throughout his round, as the 2023 Texas native produced several well-struck line drives. He generates his present bat speed with good lower half engagement and delivers the barrel with authority. 


Alex Winters (2024 OF, Princeton, NJ) was a line drive machine throughout his round, as the left-handed hitting 2024 Grad sprayed line drives through the middle-of-the field. He implores a loose, slightly lofted stroke with good barrel awareness and the ability to create backspin.

Michael Damato (2022 3B, Manchester, NJ) swung a hot bat in this one, as the left-handed hitting primary third baseman doubled and homered. He implores a loose, leveraged stroke with plenty of bat speed and good feel for the barrel. He stays direct to the baseball and uses his lower half well. 

Michael Gagliardi (2023 SS, Buchanan, NY) was impressive in his 3-for-3 day at the plate, as he singled in his first two at-bats and homered in his final one. All three swings found the barrel and were loud off the bat. He incorporates a simple, repeatable swing with tons of present bat speed and consistent bat-to-ball skills. 

Nick Andersen (2024 OF, Framingham, MA) was impressive throughout his at-bats, as the smooth swinging lefty collected two singles in four plate appearances. He uses his loose, quick hands to deliver the barrel with authority and has excellent feel for the barrel. He reads spin well and adjust from pitch-to-pitch. 

Macai Moore (2024 1B, Piscataway, NJ) impressed on both sides of the ball, as the uncommitted 2024 Grad ran his fastball up to 85 mph, punched out four in his two innings of work and doubled down the left field line. The strongly built New Jersey native uses his lower half extremely well in both facets of his game and creates a ton of torque. He stays short to the baseball and impacts the baseball well out in-front. 

Jake Arnow (2023 C, Edison, NJ) was a force on offense, as the durable frame backstop collected three hits including two loud doubles. He has excellent plate recognition, exceptional feel for the barrel and legitimate power from gap-to-gap. 

Caleb King (2024 C, Newark, DE) collected three hits in this one, as the 2024 primary catcher has good bat-to-ball skills and some compact bat speed. He stays short and direct to the baseball, stays on-time and can adjust well to off-speed offerings.

Anthony Marsillo (2023 C, Staten Island, NY) showcased a simple, repeatable stroke at the plate, collecting two hits and drove in two in this one. The athletically built 2023 catcher has looseness to his hands and delivers the barrel with some authority. 

Nick Runfola (2024 OF, Staten Island, NY) showcased his bat-to-ball skills in this one, as the right-handed hitters stays short to the baseball and has feel for the barrel. He uses his athleticism and twitch to turn the barrel quickly and will continue to add strength moving forward. 

Geno Bianco (2023 3B, North Wales, PA) showed off a solid overall hit tool and some power potential in this one, as the uncommitted 2023 Grad collected two hits including a double. He implores a fairly simple stroke with good balance, rhythm and timing to his movements. He uses his lower half well to create torque and showed plenty of bat speed. 

Alex Winters (2024 OF, Princeton, NJ) collected two hits and drove in one during this contest, as the speedy 2024 outfielder exhibits a good handle for the bat. He stays simple and short to the baseball, while displaying some looseness to his hands. 

Rhett Robbins (2024 1B, Frederica, DE) is another Delaware native that collected multiple hits during game action. The left-handed hitting first baseman has some looseness to his hands and some whip to his barrel. He turns quickly on the inner-half and uses his lower half well. 


Elijah Tradigo (2024 RHP, Bordentown, NJ) displayed intriguing attributes on both sides of the baseball in this one, as the long, lanky right-hander ran his fastball up to 84 mph and snapped off a few hellacious sliders in 2500-2600 RPM range. He showcased the ability to manipulate the speed and shape of his breaking ball and flashed a firm, fading changeup to round out his arsenal. At the plate, he collected two hits in his three at-bats and showcased a simple, projectable swing that will continue to improve as he gains strength.
