Michael Damato (2022 3B, Manchester, NJ) swung a hot bat in this one, as the left-handed hitting primary third baseman doubled and homered. He implores a loose, leveraged stroke with plenty of bat speed and good feel for the barrel. He stays direct to the baseball and uses his lower half well.
Michael Gagliardi (2023 SS, Buchanan, NY) was impressive in his 3-for-3 day at the plate, as he singled in his first two at-bats and homered in his final one. All three swings found the barrel and were loud off the bat. He incorporates a simple, repeatable swing with tons of present bat speed and consistent bat-to-ball skills.
Nick Andersen (2024 OF, Framingham, MA) was impressive throughout his at-bats, as the smooth swinging lefty collected two singles in four plate appearances. He uses his loose, quick hands to deliver the barrel with authority and has excellent feel for the barrel. He reads spin well and adjust from pitch-to-pitch.
Macai Moore (2024 1B, Piscataway, NJ) impressed on both sides of the ball, as the uncommitted 2024 Grad ran his fastball up to 85 mph, punched out four in his two innings of work and doubled down the left field line. The strongly built New Jersey native uses his lower half extremely well in both facets of his game and creates a ton of torque. He stays short to the baseball and impacts the baseball well out in-front.
Jake Arnow (2023 C, Edison, NJ) was a force on offense, as the durable frame backstop collected three hits including two loud doubles. He has excellent plate recognition, exceptional feel for the barrel and legitimate power from gap-to-gap.
Caleb King (2024 C, Newark, DE) collected three hits in this one, as the 2024 primary catcher has good bat-to-ball skills and some compact bat speed. He stays short and direct to the baseball, stays on-time and can adjust well to off-speed offerings.
Anthony Marsillo (2023 C, Staten Island, NY) showcased a simple, repeatable stroke at the plate, collecting two hits and drove in two in this one. The athletically built 2023 catcher has looseness to his hands and delivers the barrel with some authority.
Nick Runfola (2024 OF, Staten Island, NY) showcased his bat-to-ball skills in this one, as the right-handed hitters stays short to the baseball and has feel for the barrel. He uses his athleticism and twitch to turn the barrel quickly and will continue to add strength moving forward.
Geno Bianco (2023 3B, North Wales, PA) showed off a solid overall hit tool and some power potential in this one, as the uncommitted 2023 Grad collected two hits including a double. He implores a fairly simple stroke with good balance, rhythm and timing to his movements. He uses his lower half well to create torque and showed plenty of bat speed.
Alex Winters (2024 OF, Princeton, NJ) collected two hits and drove in one during this contest, as the speedy 2024 outfielder exhibits a good handle for the bat. He stays simple and short to the baseball, while displaying some looseness to his hands.
Rhett Robbins (2024 1B, Frederica, DE) is another Delaware native that collected multiple hits during game action. The left-handed hitting first baseman has some looseness to his hands and some whip to his barrel. He turns quickly on the inner-half and uses his lower half well.
Elijah Tradigo (2024 RHP, Bordentown, NJ) displayed intriguing attributes on both sides of the baseball in this one, as the long, lanky right-hander ran his fastball up to 84 mph and snapped off a few hellacious sliders in 2500-2600 RPM range. He showcased the ability to manipulate the speed and shape of his breaking ball and flashed a firm, fading changeup to round out his arsenal. At the plate, he collected two hits in his three at-bats and showcased a simple, projectable swing that will continue to improve as he gains strength.
