Frank Navarro (2022, Maunabo, PR) during workouts yesterday and carried the good bat into the game today. The Puerto Rico native barreled a ball hard through the left side during the second inning, showing really strong hands at contact.

David Ojeda (2022, Miami, FL) showed off the juice, homering for the second straight day. The Miami native offers really good power upside and has shown he is able to get to it in-game.

Larry Rodriguez (2024, Miami Lakes, FL) pulled his hands in and showed excellent hand strength to mash one down the line for a double. Rodriguez had a strong day at the plate yesterday and he will be an intriguing follow as he continues to come into his power.

Angel E. Santiago Velazquez (2024, Hialeah, FL) caught up to the fastball and drilled it into the opposite field gap for a double, showing off his wheels in the process. The Florida native possesses impressive bat-to-ball skills and has the looks of a leadoff hitter.

Everett Martin (2022, Plantation, FL) showed some power stuff out of the ‘pen. The righty sat in the 85-87 range and topped 89. He also showed a sharp 12-6 curveball at 72-74 for swing-and-miss.

Brandley Rincones (FA, Oranjestad, AA) showed off his juice and mashed a double the other way. The Aruba native is physical and offers a good amount of power and impact at the plate.

Rances Suarez (2025, Miami, FL) impressed on the mound, punching out seven batters over three perfect frames. The right-hander sat firmly at 82-83 and dominated with his fastball. He also mixed in a sharp curveball in the 68-70 range.

Chase Bart (2023, Cooper City, FL) tossed three scoreless innings while striking out seven. Bart kept hitters off balance, mixing in a fading change and operating 79-81 with the fastball.

Dylan Ingrando (2022, Miramar, FL) turned on a fastball and mashed it into LF for a knock in the bottom of the 5th. The Florida native is athletic and employs quick hands at the plate. He also was excellent on the mound, sitting 79-81 while showing a tight slider and feel for a solid changeup.

Luis Castillo (2023, Miami, FL) annihilated a fastball for an absolute no-doubt home run to left centerfield. Castillo has had a really impressive weekend and the power potential is immense.

David Alvarez (2023, Woodbridge, ON) had a really impressive outing on the mound. The righty featured a full three-pitch mix including a slider with bite and a CH with heavy fade. He ran his fastball 87-89 with life. Alvarez has high level two-way upside and also inside-outed a pitch to the opposite field for a knock at the plate.

Pedro Acosta (2023, Hialeah, FL) offered a really athletic look on the mound. The uncommitted righty ran his fastball up to 89 and the ball exploded out of the hand. He dominated with the fastball but also flashed a slider with bite at 70.

Giancarlo Arencibia (2024 MIF, Metairie, LA) started BP off well showing a really fluid and synced up righthanded stroke with natural feel for the barrel and strong line drive contact to the middle of the field.

Luis Castillo (2023 OF, Miami, FL) took the loudest round of the day driving the ball in the air the other way with serious authority sending most of the balls in his round over the wall, including a handful on top of the school in right-center. It’s a consistent barrel paired with a ton of whip and huge juice to it. 

Rickey Rivas (2022 SS, Hialeah, FL) showed some feel to hit from both sides of the plate with good control of the barrel and bat speed to go with the ability to drop the bat head and create backspin from the left side.

Brian Cordero (2023 1B, Davie, FL) is a physical righthanded hitter who showed good hand speed and the strength plays well with his compact stroke as he can get on the barrel often and produce carry to the gaps.

Bryan Borges (2026 C, Miami, FL) was timed up from the jump as he stepped in and showed confidence in finding the barrel with a repeated swing, explosiveness in the hips and the looseness to make adjustments throughout the round.

Nicholas Calderon (2023 MIF, Kendall, FL) is an athletic up the middle prospect who simplifies well at the dish showing a short yet quick swing and an accurate barrel that allowed him to produce to the middle with ease.

Derrick Corona (2022 SS, Miami, FL) showed really good bat speed from the right side and can ambush pitches out front of the plate producing hard contact to the middle of the field that translates well.

Yoanis Aleksandrov (2022 C, Nettuno, LZ) is a really physical righthanded hitting catcher who works with a ton of intent in the box and you can see the strength in how he swings it and in how well the ball comes off.

Giancarlo Arencibia (2024, Metairie, LA) led off the game by barreling a double deep into the opposite field gap. He also contributed defensively, making a sliding play in the hole before making a strong, accurate throw to get the runner.

Alexander Gonzalez (2026, Miami, FL) showed off a really strong, accurate arm from behind the plate on multiple occasions and caught a runner stealing.

Kyler Dwiggins (2023, Melbourne, FL) had a strong showing in workouts and carried it in to the game. He showed off opposite field juice, doubling high off the net in right field during the bottom of the 6th.

Bryon Rincones (FA, Oranjestad, AA) was dominant over his three innings. The athletic right-hander sat 87-89 firmly with his fastball and pounded the zone. He complimented it with a 12-6 curveball in the 72-74 range with good depth and healthy shape.

Diego Garcia (2022, Hialeah, FL) had a really strong outing in relief. He held 82-83 and topped at 84 with ride on his heater. He effectively mixed in a knuckleball with flutter in the 68-70 range.

Navy vs. Orange Game Highlights >>

Jordan Brown (’22, Coral Springs, FL) carried his loud round during batting practice in to the game. The Florida native smoked a ball in to the right centerfield gap for a double before showing off his speed to steal third. Brown also showed off defensive skills while making two sliding catches in the outfield.

Matthew Pagan (2024, Boca Raton, FL) had a very strong showing on the mound. The southpaw worked 80-82 with his fastball and showed the ability to locate it. He mixed in a breaking ball in the mid-60s. Pagan operates from a really clean, free, and loose delivery with a nice tempo. He also hit a no-doubt home run to the right centerfield. Pagan has the potential to offer impact on both sides of the ball.

Michael Malone (2023, Lake Worth, FL) lived the low-80s with his fastball and complimented it with a tight, sharp breaking ball at 70. The pitch plays really well off the heater and garnered a good amount of swing-and-miss.

Ty Martin (2022, Saginaw, TX) hit a no-doubt homer in the top of the sixth. The Texas native has the potential to offer power and play in multiple spots on the diamond.

Frank Diaz (2023, Hallandale, FL) led off the game with a loud double off the net in right centerfield. Diaz would show off good instincts to steal third immediately following the hit.

Larry Rodriguez (2024, Miami Lake, FL) had a strong round of batting practice and continued to hit come game time. The right-handed hitter hit a screaming line drive to the left centerfield gap that resulted in a double.

Andrew Stegura (2022, Lutz, FL) showed off a full three-pitch mix during his outing. The right-hander sat 83-85 with his fastball while getting whiffs on both his curveball and his changeup. The curveball showed late 11-5 break while the change showed fade down in the zone.

Bradley Link (2023, Palm Beach Gardens, FL) was dominant out of the ‘pen. The right-hander showed power stuff, sitting 90-91 and topping out at 92 with heavy sink. He also flashed a tight curveball with late break at 78.
