Spring Valley
RHP Taylor Guerrieri, featured in
last week's National High School Game of the Week, followed up that performance with a no-hitter against Lugoff-Elgin in a 10-0 win.
Guerrieri faced 20 batters in six innings, walking one while striking out six. His velocity was again 93-96, and according to Coach Charlie Wentzky, has gotten better every game. He only had to throw nine off-speed pitches in a dominant effort.
He also continues to hit well, going 2-3 with a two run homer to help his own cause.
