Florida: Kelly Impresses in West Boca Loss

West Boca RHP Michael Kelly threw six shutout innings, giving up five hits, while walking one and striking out nine. West Boca dropped the game 1-0 to Riverview, and have dropped two or their three games in the Sarasota Baseball Classic.

Kelly, currently ranked #15 in the 2011 class, was reportedly 93-94 with his fastball and very impressive.

Bishop Verot 1B Daniel Vogelbach showed impressive power with an opposite field home run at the Orioles minor league complex, with power alleys sitting 375 feet away.
