Dylan Bundy turned in a dominant performance in his first start of the season. Bundy threw a complete game (5 innings due to run rule) with 13 strikeouts and not only didn't walk a batter but he also never got into a 3-ball count. He gave up one hit. Not a bad follow up to his 6 RBI performance at the plate as the Rams DH in the season opener.
The Rams moved to 2-0 on the year with the 24-0 blowout victory. IF
Payton Allen had a pair of Home Runs to pace the offense, 1B
Justin Steelmon added a Grand Slam.
The 6th ranked Owasso Rams will get a chance to face some good competition down in Florida this week. They face Winterhaven on Friday and Lake Wales on Saturday before the Blue Devil Classic on Monday. The Blue Devil Classic will also feature Broken Arrow, setting up a potential matchup between the two Oklahoma powers in the Championship game next Thursday.
