All-American RHP
Robert Stephenson (Washington commit) had a brilliant performance on Tuesday against Encinal to move the Alhambra Bulldogs to 2-0 on the year. The 6 runs of support were far more than enough. Stephenson struck out 12 in a
no-hit performance, though he did hit 3 batters. The long loose righty reportedly sat in the low-mid 90s with his Fastball, getting as high as 95, which not at all unusual by his standards.
Stephenson got the start for the West team at the 2010 Aflac All-American game, sitting 93-95. He is currently ranked 9th in the nation by Perfect Game and #2 in the state of California, so no doubt he will draw a large crowd everytime he pitches. His next outing is expected to come in the Arcadia Elks tournament next week, likely on Wednesday. Check back next week for an update.
