Preston Silva (2029 LHP, Dublin, CA) got the start on the bump for 1-Orange, working three-innings and allowing three hits, no runs and struck out six.  Clean operation with feel for the zone, running the fastball up to 82 and keeping hitters off balance with a low-to-mid 70's slider.  Showed some two-way intrigue with a backside double in the 8th and later scoring a run.  

Kaleb Caples (2028 RHP, Roseville, CA) got the start on the mound for 2-Gray, working three-innings and did not allow a hit or a run while striking out four.  Balanced, repeatable delivery showing zone command and running the fastball up to 84.  Curveball, slider combo that kept hitters off balance throughout the outing. 

Nico Ferroni (2028 SS, Lodi, CA) caught a barrel in the 3rd to go on a line to the pull side for the first hit of the day for Gray.  Direct path and stayed behind it, controlling the barrel well and turning it quick.  

Wyatt Adolph (2029 OF, Fresno, CA) did a job in the 5th inning with a runner on third, lifting one to right to score the runner with a sacrifice fly to score the games first run and put Orange up 1-0. 

Blake Sargent (2029 C, Folsom, CA) hammered a ball to the pull side in the 5th to clear the wall for a solo shot.  Heavy hands and intent in the swing to do some damage and put Orange up 2-0.

Don Webster (2029 OF, Fairfield, CA) put together a quality performance out of the bullpen for 1-Orange, working two-innings without allowing a hit or run and struck out three.  Athletic mover down the bump with projectable traits, showing command of the zone.  

Patrick Casella (2029 OF, Sacramento, CA) had a quality piece in the sixth, staying back and allowing the ball to get deep and driving one on a line to the backside corner for an RBI double. 

Austin Westcott (2028 1B, Sacramento, CA) had one of the louder barrels of the game in the 8th when he went into the right center gap for a stand up triple. 

Makai Mah (2028 OF, Torrance, CA) had a nice piece in the 8th for Gray going shopping in the right center gap for extra bases.  Controls the barrel well with an all-fields approach.
