Caleb Smith was dominant in his start this morning, tossing three scoreless innings while striking out seven batters. The left-handed pitcher ran the fastball all the way up to 82 mph with some natural arm-side run. He also mixed in both a curveball and changeup that landed for strikes consistently. 

Lucca Sando showed the two-way upside. On the mound the right-handed pitcher ran the fastball up to 82 from a ¾ slot with some real sink. In the box the right-handed hitter showed off his bat-to-ball skills by lining a ball right back up the middle for a single. 

Simon Shaham squared up a fastball offering and drove a double to the left field gap. The right-handed hitter used quick hands through the zone with a flat bat path to generate some real power to the gaps. He added another two doubles to the same spot later in the game. 

Fabian Febus stayed back on an off-speed and hit it hard back up the middle for a RBI single. The 5 '10 right-handed hitter stayed in the legs with the chest over the ball and found a way to get the job done. He showed off his speed by stealing 2nd and 3rd base.

Evan Killough had himself a productive day at the plate, consistently hitting the ball on the barrel. The right-handed hitter squared up a fastball offering, sending a hard ground ball back up the middle with an impressive 98 mph exit velocity. He added a loud ground ball through the ⅚ hole for a single later in the game. He hopped on the mound later in the game and ran the fastball up to 85 mph with some real life at the top of the zone with a curveball in the low-70s that showed tons of depth.

Christopher Cabrera showed off all the tools collecting two hits, showcasing a loose and easy swing that generates tons of power. The tall, athletic right-handed hitter legged out an infield hit on a groundball to shortstop. He added a line drive to left field with a 99 exit velocity in his next at bat. 

Beck Boyd showed his feel for the barrel, collecting two hits including a single and a double.
