Chase Alonso (2028 SS, Tiger, GA) got us off to a hot start in the first, smoking one to the pull side for a double. Alonso has plenty of strength to the barrel with the solid base and good bat speed. He sent this one to the wall in left at 98 exit velocity. Alonso also had some solid stuff on the mound, working in the 88-91 range and topping out at 93. He also mixed in a harder breaking ball in the upper 70s with 11-5 shape and got some ugly swings on it.

Aiden Kearney (2028 MIF, Winter Park, FL) had a loud barrel in the first, sending it to the center fielder for the lineout. Kearney has some easy strength at the plate with a simple operation, and this one left the bat at 97 exit velo.

Weston Barrett (2028 3B, Apopka, FL) sent one hard through the right side for a base knock and an RBI in the first inning. Barrett is a switch hitter with the ability to impact the baseball well from both sides of the plate. Barrett later tallied another hit, showing off his PS barrel feel with a line drive double.

Collin Joy (2028 RHP, Yaphank, NY) got the start for the Columbia Blue squad, working in the upper 80s with plenty of ride to the fastball with spin north of 2400 RPM at times. Joy also worked in both a changeup in the low 80s with lower spin (1400s) and a slider in the upper 70s-low 80s with tight action.

Christian (CJ) Estrella (2028 OF, Chandler, AZ) tagged one into the gap in the second for a ground rule double, showing off his ability to work to all fields. Estrella has solid strength to the hands with some barrel whip, and he sent this one into LCF at 94 EV.

Christian Lux (2028 3B, Denton, TX) showed off the impressive pull side strength here in the second, hammering one into left for a double at 100 EV. Lux has an XL frame with plenty of power potential to tap into. He later launched a loud homer to left, showing off the ability to back spin the baseball (94 EV).

Kekoanui Payanal (2028 SS, Kaneohe, HI) drove one out to left in the third, sitting back on the slider for a homer. Payanal has a solid base at the dish and creates good leverage off the back side in the swing; this one left the yard at 92 exit velocity.

Sebastian Herrera (2028 RHP, Pittsfield, MA) had a clean inning here in the fifth, working the fastball consistently in the mid 80s with some heaviness to it. Herrara works an athletic delivery with a fluid arm path. He also mixed in a low-mid 70s breaking ball with good action as well.

Colt Bakich (2028 SS, Clemson, SC) had a strong piece of hitting here in the seventh inning, slapping a 2 strike pitch the other way for a base hit. Bakich shortens up with 2 strikes and chokes up a bit, and was able to get it down in left for an RBI.

Rohan Persad (2028 SS, Toronto, ON) had a solid piece of hitting deep into the count in the seventh, poking one down the line it right for an RBI double. Persad has a quiet approach at the plate with good plate discipline, and was able to find some gross in right.

Madden Pike (2028 C, Puyallup, WA) had one of the better innings thrown today, striking out two with the fastball sitting in the upper 80s with some good run to the arm side and sink. Pike also mixed in a sweeping slider in the mid 70s as his go-to swing and miss pitch.

Dru Wilson (2028 OF, Porter Ranch, CA) had the two-way tools on display in this one, making plays in center but also showing the stuff on the mound. He worked the fastball in the 89-92 range (T93) in a clean inning. Wilson also flashed a breaking ball in the mid-upper 70s with bite.

Austin Maiden (2028 SS, Woodland Hills, CA) smoked one to the center fielder for a single, and showed off the speed while advancing to third on the error in center. Maiden works a swing with effortless juice and impact through the middle of the field.

Pryce Pinkins (2028 OF, Oxford, MS) had a quick inning in the tenth, working the fastball up to 88 with downward angle to it. Pinkins has an intriguing projection profile at 6'4 225 with a clean arm path. He also worked in a mid 70s breaking ball with horizontal action for the go to swing and miss pitch.

Brandon Perkins Jr. (2028 OF, Bowling Green, KY) smoked one into the gap late in the game for a triple. Perkins has an athletic profile with impact working to the gaps, and he was also able to show off the impressive speed around the bases.

Brooks Bond (2028 SS, Council Bluffs, IA) took an impressive at bat late in the game, hammering one into the gap for a double in a lefty-lefty matchup. Bond has some definite impact at the dish, and was able to show that off here.
