Red v. Gray Highlights

William Hicks ('31 MS) did a very nice job in his start. Its a repeatbale dleivery with feel for multiple pitches at an early age. Missed bats with a tight slider.

Cain Harris ('30 MS) Very projectable 6'3 frame with easy movements down the slope. Fastbal comes out well and up to 80mph in this look. Added a basehit as well.

Brantley McIntire ('30 KY) put on a strong offensive showing. Registered a base hit and later came around to score.

Mason Scott ('31 AL) Hit a line drive rope that drove in a run. Clean swing with advanced strength for the age, should grow into more too.

Chase Domreis ('30 LA) Launched a long pull side homer in game 1 action. Obvious strength in the hands and lower half that translates to the barrel.

Brantley Campbell ('31 AR) Clean left-handed swing with good direction and feel to square. Register a base hit to his credit and later scored.

Baker Bain ('31 MS) caught a basehit on the screws to drive in a run. Rhythmic swing with good bat speed.

Dante Stutts ('30 MS)  Caught a fastball on the barrel out to left for a knock. Big strong kid that should have some serious right-hand power coming through over the next couple of years.

Cameron Queen ('30 MS) drove in a run with a hard line drive single. Functional swing with quality bat speed for the age. Should continue to develop into a very nice corner stick. On the mound, pitched well and ran the fastball up to 77.

Briggs Matson ('30 LA) took a high and away fastball through the 5-6 hole. Good left-handed hack with projectable power
