Black:

Jayden Ohrt (2026 LHP, North Liberty, IA) Hit a couple of the hardest balls of the day this afternoon. Both went a very long way to right field, also hit a line drive over the third baseman in his last at bat. Super quick bat speed with a short and direct path. Mount Mercy commit.

Freddie Quezada (28, Kaukauna, Wisconsin) Athletic delivery with some pitchability early on. Got the FB up to 81 with some two seam action and spun the breaking ball in the 68-70 range with some sharp downhill break. Also crushed a ball into the opposite field, sees pitches deep and has a mature approach.

Gold:

Jonah Tollefson (27, Madison, Wisconsin) Hit a laser into center field in his first at bat. The body projects for some power and lets the hands work. Smashed another ball high into left center field, really putting the compact swing to work. 

Declan Harper (27, Dubuque, Iowa) On the barrel in his first two at bats, the second one going a long way to center field. Quick to the ball with a direct hand path. Third time on the barrel and again crushes it into deep left center, very solid bat to ball skills.

Mason Rychetsky (27, Chicago, Illinois) Absolutely dealing in live at bats and is throwing a ton of strikes. Working the FB in the upper 80’s and topping out at 88. Also utilizing the SL in the mid 70’s and missing barrels. Collected a couple strikeouts and over powered hitters with his stuff.
