Errol "EJ" Coutain Jr. led things off with an infield single, immediately showing off his speed to leg out a ground ball to third base. He promptly stole second on the next pitch, swiped third a couple later before tagging up to score the first run of the game.

Ryley Omine (2028 RHP, Pearl City, HI) got the start on the bump for the White squad and went to work immediately, inducing ground ball contact pretty consistently while running his fastball up to 82 mph. He ended the first frame with a nice changeup, showing diving life to the back foot of a left-handed hitter for a swinging third strike.

Cade Kuhlmeier (2028 OF, Parkland, FL) was able to impress the scouts behind the backstop with a strike he delivered from center field, camping out under a fly ball before delivering the perfect throw to the plate to nail the runner and end the inning.

Casey McBride (2027 SS, Ellenwood, GA) delivered in a big way during his first trip to the plate, finding a pitch he could handle and absolutely didn’t miss, sending it deep out to center field for an easy triple. McBride also impressed up the middle, making a nice ranging play behind the bag before dropping slot and delivering a strike on to first base.

Evan Shaw (2027 OF, Lithonia, GA) followed in the footsteps of McBride and picked up a triple of his own, turning on a ball down the left field line that got caught up in the corner, allowing Shaw to race around and shows his first-to-third speed.

London Fluellen (2027 OF, Monroe, GA) was one of a few standouts in the outfield for the Royal team, showing great closing speed and plenty of range as he tracked a ball deep into the left center field gap to take away would have been easy extra-bases.

Luke Adams (2027 3B, Cumming, GA) got the White team on the board with a scorcher thru the left side, collecting a single while plating the first run of the game before later coming around to score on his own.
