James Templeton (2026 RHP, Murrysville, PA) Got the start on the mound for 1-Red. Fastball sat 83-84, attacking the zone and unafraid to challenge on the inner half. Efficient outing for the right-hander.
Tanner DeStefano (2028 SS, Irwin, PA) Got the start on the bump for 2-White. Good operation, showing athleticism down the bump. Fastball sat in the mid 70's coupled with a solid breaking ball. Threw the entire mix for strikes for a quick, efficient outing. Also, he smoked a gap shot to the backside in the 3rd.
Brad Bucci (2028 SS, Venetia, PA) Caught a barrel for 1-Red in the bottom of the 1st. Kept the weight back and drove a backside knock down the line. Solid piece of hitting from the left-hander.
Alexander Rossetti (2026 SS, Medina, OH) Smoked a ball to the backside in the 2nd for 2-White. Solid piece of hitting, throwing the barrel at it for a loud knock. Added a second hit in the 6th, driving a ball on a rope back up the middle.
Kason Angel (2026 RHP, Cameron, WV) Came in to throw an inning for 2-White. Ran the fastball up in the mid 80's coupled with a wipeout slider that had hitters chasing through. Quick, efficient worker and stays around the zone consistently.
Landon Eifler (2027 3B, Zelienople, PA) Caught a barrel to the backside for 2-White in the 3rd. Nice piece of hitting, getting the barrel head out and driving the fastball on a line.
Liam Wahl (2027 C, McMurray, PA) Had a nice piece in the 3rd for 1-Red. Went right back up the middle for a hard hit base knock. Quick to the ball and swinging with intent.
Colin Stofik (2027 SS, Venetia, PA) Had one of the hardest hit balls of the day for 2-White in the 4th. Caught a loud barrel to the pull side gap.
Alex Vagnier (2026 C, New Kensington, PA) Smoked a line drive back up the middle for 2-White. Level path, staying on a line and catching a barrel. Solid piece, swinging with intent.
Reese Clarke (2026 OF, Venetia, PA) Banged one back up the middle for 1-Red in the 5th. Threw the hands and stayed on a line, catching a loud barrel for the knock.
