2024 High School All State Select Championship (2025-2026 Grads) (10/19/2024 - 10/20/2024)

6-Southeast vs. 2-East
10/20/2024 4:52:26 PM

Walker Roberts (2025 RHP, Greensboro, GA) got the game started on the mound for Southeast and cruised through his three innings to collect five strikeouts. Ran the fastball (2255 RPM) up to 86 and paired it with a plus curveball (2357 RPM) that he could throw in any count. Also mixed in a low-70s change-up (1627 RPM) that had good arm-side fade.

John Parpis (2025 RHP, Commack, NY) was a bulldog on the mound. The fastball (2383 RPM) was firm with heavy actions. Also mixed in a slider (2317 RPM) that creates strong horizontal break and that he throws out of the same tunnel as the fastball.

Evan McElvain (2026 C, Thompson’s Station, TN) got the barrel head out front to drive one down the left field line for a RBI double. Present strength in the frame with a feel to impact the ball and a short hand path.

Jasper House (2026 C, Comer, GA) got on plane with an elevated pitch and belted it to deep right-center field for a loud RBI triple. Present strength in the frame with a whippy barrel and some feel to impact and drive the ball.

Tanner Owens (2026 SS, Milton, FL) showed off the bat-to-ball skills collecting two hits during game action. Stays in rhythm and uncoils hard with good bat speed. Has quick hands in the swing with a short swing path.

Benjamin Heath (2026 3B, Birmingham, AL) came up in relief for Roberts and showed good upside on the mound. He ran the fastball (2116 RPM) up to 82 and paired it with a low-70s curveball (2265 RPM).
