Dylan Verdi (’28, Jefferson, Ga.)- the 6-foot, 175-pound right-handed hitter went 1-for-3 with two runs batted in for Team Red in a 5-3 loss. A primary catcher, he also ran the fastball up to 80 mph in a short relief appearance.
Peyton Robidoux (’25, Smyrna, Ga.)- the 6-foot-2, 175-pound right-handed pitcher showed a solid three-pitch mix for Team Red in the start. The Whitefield Academy product ran the fastball up to 91 mph and sat in the upper-80s for three innings. He featured a slider in the 78-81 mph range and a changeup around 80 mph.
Brooks Harris (’26, New Market, Ala.)- the 5-foot-10, 150-pound right-handed pitcher did not allow an earned run in the start for Team Purple. A primary second baseman, Harris ran the fastball up to 81 mph and finished with a pair of strikeouts.
Josh Gibbs (’25, Cumming, Ga.)- the 6-foot, 180-pound right-handed hitter went 2-for-3 with a double with a double, run scored and a run batted in for Team Purple. The No. 1 ranked shortstop in the Georgia class finished the Southeast Sunshine Showcase with four hits in seven at-bats and four runs scored.
