Batting Practice Highlights

Drew Galyean (2019 OF, Henderson, TX) has a pronounced hand coil and hitch that impacts his timing and consistency but when the 6-4/180 left handed hitter is on time, he can absolutely crush the baseball.  He hit one bomb completely onto the next field and looked to put a hole in the right field fence with another laser line drive.

Austin Roccaforte (2019 SS, Tomball, TX) is small and slender 5-7/140 quick twitch athlete with surprisingly good hand and bat speed from the right side.  He consistently squared the ball up hard and got lots of carry up the left centerfield gap.

David Wilson (2019 1B, Austin, TX) tends to get a bit unbalanced over his front side but when he stays back the extra strong 6-1/205 right handed hitter can really impact the baseball with power and authority.  He wore out the left field fence with line drives.

Ty Mongo (2019 OF, Lantana, TX) is a plus athlete with a notable combination of quick twitch and strength.  His right handed hitting mechanics aren't consistent but he will flash bat speed and the ability to drive the ball hard to all fields.

Carsen Thor (2019 1B, Tomball, TX) is an extra strong 6-2/215 right handed hitter with a simple rotational right handed swing that he repeats well for hard line drive contact.  He'll be hitting some bombs with a bit more lift in his swing out front.
