Payton Waters (2022 3B, Live Oak, FL) went two for two in his first game with a hard hit double over the center fielders head. He showed great plate discipline fighting off a curveball for a single and made consistent contact in both at bats.

Luke Heyman (2022 C, Longwood, FL) had a solid showing offensively and defensively. He showed his power potential at the plate smoking a double to left field. He also has a strong arm behind the plate as he threw a runner out at second with ease.

Dylan Oborne (2021 RHP, Richmond Hill, ON) had a good outing on the mound throwing 3 innings, striking out 7, and only letting up 1 run. His fastball ranged from 76-79 MPH and mixed in a 64 MPH curveball and 73 MPH changeup. He has an athletic frame, square shoulders, and strong, natural ball movement. He throws with ease coming from a 3/4 arm slot. His curveball looked really good when he got on top and kept it down in the zone.

Elijah Green (2022 OF, Windermere, FL) showed above average bat speed and speed on the bases hitting a standup triple to the right center gap. He is very athletic with a good frame and power potential.

Zachary Root (2022 LHP, Fort Myers, FL) threw well on the mound striking out 7 and only letting up 1 hit in 3 scoreless innings. His fastball ranged from 77-80 MPH and mixed in a 68 MPH curveball and 72 MPH changeup. He has a lean frame with square shoulders and is very projectable. His delivery out of the windup is very rhythmic and has a high leg lift. He consistently mixed pitches and filled the zone.
