Geoffrey Gilbert (2019 LHP, Charleston, SC) attacked hitters with his fastball that worked 85-88 mph and topped out at 89 mph. He threw from a high three-quarter arm slot with a fastball that was mostly true. Gilbert also mixed in a 12/6 curveball that flashed sharp break.
Blake Wehunt (2019 RHP, Carnesville, GA) showed a strong three-pitch mix on the mound. He worked with a 85-87 mph fastball and mixed in a curveball and a changeup. Wehunt has a long, slightly hoked arm action and got good extension down the mound.
Albert Hernandez (2020 RHP, Davie, FL) worked very quickly on the mound and showed off his explosive 86-88 mph fastball that touched 89 mph. He showed good arm speed and worked with three pitches. The slider came in the mid-70s with late bite and his changeup flashed fade.
Josiah Miller (2019 SS, Tallahassee, FL) showed his pop from the left side with a long triple that one-hopped the wall to the pull side. He gets good weight drive throughout his lower half and extended well through the point of contact.
Yordani Carmona (2019 1B, Hialeah, FL) smoked an opposite field single to bring home a run. Carmona also threw on the mound as he threw an immaculate inning. He worked the fastball up to 89 mph and showed good arm strength and three pitches for strikes, highlighted by the breaking ball that flashed tight break; he finished with six K's.
