Rockies set to ink Dahl for $2.6M

The Colorado Rockies have agreed to terms with and will sign first-round pick, talented outfielder David Dahl, for $2.6 million. Dahl is expected to sign with the Rockies on Tuesday.

Dahl's signing bonus comes in just under the pick value for the 10th overall pick in the draft, $2.7 million.

The 2011 Perfect Game All-American had signed with Auburn.

Dahl has a high-level bat with some serious tools. He's a potential 5 tool player, everything a plus but power, and should stay in center field for a long time.
