LHP Austin Fairchild and St. Thomas High School will be facing RHP Mitchell Traver and Houston Christian High School at home this evening in a marquee matchup of TCU recruits and 2011 Perfect Game All-Americans. The game starts at 6:35 pm CT and will be broadcasted online by the Texas Sports Radio Network, which be accessed off of the

Fairchild worked the full 7 innings while Traver went 5.2 of the game of which St. Thomas won 7-1. Fairchild peaked at his usual 93 mph in the game, striking out 12 allowing 3 hits and 1 walk. He has now worked 39+ innings without allowing an earned run. Traver struck out 8, allowing 5 hits, 5 walks and 3 earned runs. He peaked at 92.
