Kaleb Duncan (2022, Goodyear, Ariz.) put his wide range of skills on display both with the bat and the glove. He seems to get on base every time he comes up to the plate. His patient approach allows him to work counts and work walks often out of the leadoff spot. He also possesses a swing that can do some damage. It is a short, compact stroke that remains balanced throughout, even when he is slightly fooled. The barrel accuracy is impressive. He will drive the ball to all fields with authority. The glove in center field is just as good. Duncan showed off the range in the semifinal games. He has the ability to chase down balls far into each gap thanks to double plus speed. The ability to get quality jumps is there, allowing him to get to even more fly balls. When he is patrolling center field, it seems as if any ball put in the air is winding up in his glove. The UNLV commit should have no problem producing on both sides of the ball at the next level.

Michael Paul (2022, Salt Lake City, Utah) got the bats going early with a loud triple to deep center field. Not only was the swing impressive, the speed around the bases turned some heads. Paul has plus speed, borderline double plus, that allows him to fly on the basepaths. While the speed is fun to watch, the bat is what really makes Paul one of the better players in the event. He has lightning quick bat speed that explodes through the zone. The natural loft within leads to some majestic fly balls that just seem to keep going. The power should only continue to get better and the speed helps add to the extra-base hit totals. It makes for one of the better speed and power combinations I have seen this week.
