High School Class of 2021 Player Rankings


Deric Fabian (2021, Ocala, Fla.) HF to 28
The younger brother of Florida commit and 2018 PG All-American Jud Fabian made tremendous strides this summer from a year ago, starting with his physical maturity, growing into a still extremely projectable 6-foot-2, 155-pound frame. The primary shortstop has lots of fluidity to his easy swing and lots of feel for the barrel with a clean glove at shortstop, all of which makes for a recipe of a very high-level player in this class.

Lonnie White (2021, Coatesville, Pa.) HF to 59
A dual-sport athlete who is a highly regarded quarterback, as well as outfielder, White has made the jump from the High Follow list into the Top 100 at 59 overall. White is highly advanced physically and the looseness to his swing, as well as the raw tools in the outfield, are intriguing moving forward.

Bobby Marsh (2021, Bellefonte, Pa.) HF to 75
Another hitter who moved into the Top 100 from the High Follow list is lefthanded hitting primary first baseman Bobby Marsh From Pennsylvania. Listed at first base while making a lot of appearances this summer in the outfield, Marsh has a professional frame as well as an advanced approach at the plate. The swing is extremely smooth for his age and his ability to spray the ball from gap to gap helped him tally up nine extra-base hits in 40 at-bats this summer.

Grant Hussey (2021, Washington, W.Va.) NEW to 89
The in-state commit for the West Virginia Mountaineers had a big-time summer with the bat from a strong lefthanded swing. He also was named to the 2018 14u PG Select Festival given that he is young for the grade as well. Hussey is a physically advanced, now 15-year-old with the ability to drive the ball for power as well as hit the ball hard to all fields for contact.

Jordan McCants (2021, Cantonment, Fla.) NEW to 134
McCants is a quick shortstop who hit the ball consistently throughout the summer and was a disruption on the basepaths as well. Playing for the East Coast Sox, McCants was able to put together a .394 batting average in 33 at-bats while stealing nine bases in 13 games.

Ryan Minckler (2021, Greenland, N.H.) NEW to 145
Making the jump from an 82 mph top fastball to now topping out at 89 mph with his heater, Minckler is a new addition to the 2021 class ranks. He has an ideal frame at 6-foot-2, 170-pounds as the overall projection is intriguing for the righthander from New Hampshire.

Clint Lasiter (2021, Benton, La.) 1000 to 150
Playing for Sheets Baseball, a team that finished as the runner-up at the 15u WWBA National Championship, Lasiter was able to make a big name for himself as he completely raked during the event as well as at the 15u PG World Series. Lasiter hit .528 during the 15u WWBA and has a nice approach at the plate looking to square the ball up to the middle of the field.

Jabin Trosky (2021, Carmel, Calif.) Follow to 164
Trosky made a name for himself the last few months as the shortstop from California committed to Oregon State and played with high energy all summer long, which began at the Jr. National and concluded at the PG World Series, Trosky frequently displayed his quick-twitch athleticism and fluidity to his actions as well as his contact-oriented approach from both sides of the plate with feel for the barrel.
