Junior National Invades East Cobb

Olivia Bontempo
The Perfect Game Junior National Showcase is set to get started tomorrow, June 10, at the East Cobb Complex in Marietta, Georgia.

Every year the showcase welcomes the top-ranked rising juniors from around the country. This year players from states like California, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas will be represented alongside a handful of players from Canada.

The invitation-only event will allow players to showcase their skills in a variety of different drills. Outfield and infield defensive work, the 60-yard dash, batting practice, and competitive games are among some of the events this highly scouted showcase will offer this weekend.

Participating in this event allows athletes exposure to over 1,500 colleges and scouts from all 30 Major League teams. When it comes to the MLB, many of their top players have taken part in this showcase prior to their collegiate or professional careers. Bryce Harper is amongst the hundreds of pro players who have taken part in this event, and as the years go on the numbers continue to grow.

Sean Gamble, Seth Hernandez, Jacob Kendall, Dean Moss, Kayson Cunningham, and Billy Carlson are six of the top ten players in the class of 2025 who will be on the scouts radar’s this weekend.

Gamble is the No.2-ranked player in the country from Des Moines, IA. Gamble attends IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida and is an uncommitted shortstop who has attended both the 2021 Perfect Game 14U Select Festival and the 2020 Perfect Game 13U Select Festival.

Hernandez, Moss, and Carlson have all announced their commitments to play college ball at Vanderbilt come the spring of 2026. Kendall and Cunningham have also announced their commitments to play at Florida and Texas Tech, respectively.

The schedule for the showcase is as follows, June 10-June 12 will be skill heavy days with a few games throughout the day. June 13 and June 14 will be dedicated to team competition.

If you are not able to attend the event in person, the players will be scored through DiamondKast and the event will be streamed on PerfectGame.tv starting on June 10.
