Major changes to schedule; please read..

Coaches, there is an update on this weekend’s Perfect Game Super Six event in Bryan. We have had some late team movement and a few drops, so we have done a full rework of the schedules. The tournament will now be one high school division and will be at the Travis Fields at Midtown turf complex only. We have shifted the games from BRAC over to the Travis turf facility. We apologize for the late adjustments and appreciate you’ll hanging in there with us. There are a number of other things we want to communicate here, see below:

Skills Camp Update:
The Friday Night Skills Camp is going to be cancelled due to lack of registrations. I’ve offered discounts and deals but at the end of the day it seems getting to Bryan for a Friday camp this time of year is too big a task. We only small number of campers fill out the form, and those that have paid will get their money refunded to them today.

Format Update:
The format with the 6GG is not changing. There are now 11 teams in the division, so each team will play 4 games Saturday, 2 on Sunday with the top 6 seeds moving to the Champions single elim bracket Sunday afternoon. Seeds 7-11 will play their 6 games and be done. Our goal for this event was to give teams a large number of quality play innings to start the year, so teams to see where they are at. Games will remain at 80 mins all throughout. There will only be 15 mins between games, so it is critical that we get teams in and out the dugout in between games.
Gate Fees:
Gate fees for this event will be $10 daily or a $15 weekend pass. All teams coming back Sunday in this format. PG website have a note about cashless since 2019 which is referring to tournament entry fees, not gates. These gates will be cash only gates for this event. Coaches will need to check-in with Olivia Grant at the front main tent to get their coaches bands. 3 Coaches per team and children 10 & under are free.

Facility Rules:
There are no outside food or drinks, as this is a private complex. No metal cleats allowed on the fields what so ever. No sunflower seeds allowed. Gates will open 6:30am each day

Gameballs will be provided for the weekend, and the umpires will bring them to the fields

Pool play overall record (winning percentage)
If two teams are tied -Head to Head winner
If three teams are tied – If one team has defeated both other teams, that team advances. If not go to #4.
Total runs allowed in pool play.
If still tied – Total runs scored in pool play
If still tied – Total runs allowed subtracting game with most runs allowed in pool play
If still tied – Total runs allowed minus two games with most runs allowed in pool play
If still tied – Runs scored inning by inning starting with first game until one team has more runs after a complete inning starting with pool games
Second place teams will always be taken ahead of 3rd place teams for wild cards, 3rd place ahead of 4th place, etc.

Special Playing Rules for this weekend:
Free Defensive Substitutions(Note pitcher and catcher on lineups)
Coaches can bat 9 or bat their lineup. (Pro-tip put all of your batters then skip a spot then put subs under)
No DP/Flex needed for this weekend with these modified rules
Every game counts and you will need a lineup card for every game (Not a showcase format)
All other rules outside of this refer back to standard Federation rules.
