Due to an increased interest in Perfect Game events ran in the Northeast / Mid Atlantic / Chesapeake region our events operate on a first come first serve basis. This means once your team is accepted you must submit at least a partial payment for your team's spot to be secure in the tournament. Your PGBA fee does not count towards payment into a tournament. If your team is waitlisted, the event is currently sold out based on current field ability. 

PG 8U REGIONAL RULES

1:30 no new inning. 
6 inning games. 4 run max per inning.
15 runs after 4 innings. 10 runs after 5 innings.
5 steal attempts max per inning. Ball must past catcher.
No steal of home. No pass ball.
No dropped 3rd strike. No infield fly. 3 out fielders.
Last inning when determined by umpire. Unlimited.
Can bat entire line up. Free defensive substitutions with it. Courtesy runner mandatory for catcher in game next inning with 2 outs.
Last inning is max of 8 runs. Saturday POOL PLAY Can have ties. Sunday must have a winner. International tie breaker if needed.

PITCHING RULES:

Daily Limits
7U-8U: Daily max is 15 outs OR 50 pitches.
The pitcher may finish the batter upon reaching the daily pitch count limit.

Event Limits
7U-14U: Each Player is allowed 24 outs over a 3-day period.
If a player records more than 9 outs in a day, they are required 2 days rest.
100 Pitch maximum over 2, 3 or 4 day events
140 Pitch maximum over 5+ day events
Players can pitch in more than one game in a day if they do not exceed daily limits.

ONLY TWO school grade exemptions per team will be allowed for players who are in the Grade 2 who turn 9 years old before May 1st, 2022.However, those players must be born on/after January 1, 2016 to be eligible.
