2025 PG National Uncommitted Showcase (2026 Grads)
Jerrell Alston is a 2026 OF/RHP with a 6-4 175 lb. frame from Hilo, HI who attends Waiakea. Long and lean athletic build, very projectable physically. Right handed hitter, sets up in a narrow stance with a hand pump load and knee lift trigger, has fast hands and creates bat speed and whip, lots of separation at impact, was timed up in the games and crushed some balls to the opposite gap, big projection at the plate as he continues to get stronger. 7.01 runner in the sixty. Primary outfielder on defense, throws from a high 3/4's arm slot and has some carry on his throws, can quicken his transitions and release. Took a turn on the mound, has a full wind up from the first base side of the rubber, low effort mechanics and release. Fastball was in the low 80's and topped out at 83 mph with some running life. Soft slider showed some two plane shape and depth, also threw a tumbling split finger change that was a good pitch for him. Bat is his tool. Good student. Named to the PG National Uncommitted Showcase Top Prospect List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
