Matteo Matteucci is a 2024 MIF/ with a 5-6 130 lb. frame from San Bruno, CA who attends Archbishop Riordan high school. Features a smaller, lean build with ample room to grow. Matteucci started the event running a 7.22 60-yard dash. He showed well in his defensive ground ball round with an athletic 1st step and working aggressively through the baseball. Made all the required plays using the proper footwork/glove techniques and showing off an accurate developing arm . At the plate Matteucci starts in a traditional balanced stance using a Nolan Arenado type rocking/shifting timing loading mechanism. Has good separation which generates his good hand/bat speed. Demonstrated he could barrel up the ball consistently and use the whole field to his advantage.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
