2022 West Academic Showcase (Wed-Thurs)
Jack Burcell is a 2024 C/1B, 3B, OF with a 5-11 140 lb. frame from Mountain View, CA who attends Los Altos. Physcial frame with present strength to both halves that can continue to fill out and develop at the next level. Ran a 7.77 in the 60-yard dash. Primary catcher, starts low in crouch and gains ground well. Good momentum with throws on a line. Has good accuracy with intent in his throws. Switch hitter, low crouch stance with a slight trigger. Shows promising bat speed from both sides with ability to match plane. Can get the hands extended through contact and showed a solid round to all fields. Very good student.
