Luke Laufman is a 2024 LHP/OF with a 6-2 165 lb. frame from Cincinnati, OH who attends Walnut Hills. Taller slender frame. Ran a 7.52 60-yard dash. Left-handed pitcher with a fastball and curveball out of a high three-quarter arm slot. Shows drop and drive mechanics on the mound with developing sync in the delivery. Solid average arm speed with a slight hitch in the arm action, fastball topped at 81, worked consistently up in the zone with the pitch. Breaking ball showed 1-7 type shape in the mid 60's, developing feel for spin but maintained its consistent shape. Average strike thrower with each pitch. Very good student.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
