Anthony Santos is a 2023 RHP/3B, OF with a 5-11 160 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends Taft. He has a taller frame with a slender build and a high waist that has plenty of room to add strength. Ran the sixty yard dash in 7.86 seconds. Primary right-handed pitcher that has an on balance delivery and works in line with the plate. He has a loose, whippy arm and fires from a 3/4 arm slot. He has plenty of arm quickness that creates a lot of spin on the ball and causes his fastball to move through the zone. He showed good control over the heater, throwing it for strikes throughout his outing. His curveball has 11-5 shape with developing break and sharpness. His changeup has nice fade and depth, making it a nice compliment to his fastball. He will continue to improve as he continues to develop and becomes more consistent in his release point with his secondary pitches. Good student.
