Luke Vingren is a 2023 RHP/1B with a 6-3 178 lb. frame from Bonn, NW who attends Bonn International School. Extra Large frame with a sturdy build showing physical strength. Ran a 7.46 second sixty yard dash. Primary Right-Handed Pitcher, working exclusively from the stretch. Gets tall in the lift and turns at the top. Uncoils landing direct to dish. Higher slot release. Fastball up to 77 mph and also mixed in a cutter type pitch up to 70 mph. Secondary First Baseman, good first step working into the baseball well. Clean gather with feel for the glove. Quick transfer and release. Proper footwork around the bag and while turning two. Right-Handed Hitter, open front side and spread out a bit. Hanging leg lift to stride. Bat speed present going after it with intent. Squared it up and proved to have some power to the middle of the field. Good Student.
