Keine Urdaneta is a 2024 SS with a 5-11 155 lb. frame from Maracaibo, ZU who attends UEP Dr Jose manuel Nunez ponte. Medium, athletic frame with square shoulders and present strength to frame, additional room to fill throughout moving forward. Ran a 6.82 60-yard dash. Primary shortstop, moves well on feet and rounds the ball well, replaces feet and moves plenty light on feet showing range, hands works really well out front with softness and snatch, works to a higher slot on throws and shows on line carry across the diamond, repeats actions. Right-handed hitter, begins with a slightly open stance and a medium hand set with a high back elbow at the plate. Utilizes a double toe tap trigger moving into contact, sound approach to hitting and shows a full path through the zone. Handsy swing, occasionally gets to front side early, contact oriented swing with line drive contact coming off when squared, bat speed projects with added physical strength. Excellent student.
