Anthony Esquivel is a 2028 MIF/2B, SS with a 4-7 80 lb. frame from Marina, CA who attends Monterey. Features a smaller, compact build. Ran an 8.72 60-yard dash. Primary infielder. Displayed solid footwork on the direct. Presents glove early in approach with proper technique through the catchpoint. Was accurate with most throws across. Arm strength will continue to develop. Right-handed hitter. Utilizes a simple, balanced swing. Transfers weight using a small leg kick timing mechanism. Swings on a compact, linear path with sound bat to ball skills. Will be able to create more impact as strength continues to be added to the frame.
