Robert Rivera is a 2023 RHP/UT with a 6-1 160 lb. frame from Chicago, IL who attends DePaul College Prep. Medium frame with slender, projectable build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.39 seconds. Primary righthanded pitcher, quick arm through the back with slightly offline hook to 3/4 slot, fastball worked 75-78 mph with good sinking action, can cut it glove side, showed slider rolling tilt, flashed changeup with arm speed as well. Hits from slightly open stance, whole field approach, doesn't get off backside, minimal hand load, rotates well, consistent line drive contact. Worked out in the infield, long strides laterally, developing footwork/balance, hands work, clocked up to 77 mph on throws across.
