Cuyler Soppe is a 2023 SS/ with a 5-9 155 lb. frame from Kronenwetter, WI who attends D C Everest. Recorded a 7.05 second sixty yard dash time. Primary shortstop with an aggressive but controlled approach, keeps his feet moving throughout and attacks the ball. Plays through the ball well, short arm action with a quick transfer and release, has preset athleticism and a good fundamental base. Developing glove work at present, will continue to improve with added repetitions. Right-handed hitter with an even and balanced stance and a deep hand set. Utilizes a small leg lift trigger with heavy bat tilt pre pitch, turns the barrel over well and makes contact out front. Gets overly rotational at times, developing feel for the barrel at present, bat speed and hand strength will improve as he grows and gets stronger.
