Vincent Ballonoff is a 2024 IF/RHP with a 6-0 140 lb. frame from Fairhope, AL who attends Fairhope. Ran a 8.03 second sixty. Primary infielder with a long skinny frame. Showed some young actions on the infield with developing foot speed as he works around the baseball. Looked going left with the ability to change the arm slot while maintaining accuracy with young arm strength across the diamond. Uses a side step to a leg lift just above the belt. Longer arm action through the back up to a high three-quarters arm slot. Stays tall on the back side landing on a stiff front leg with a short stride. Was in the zone with the fastball at 65-69 mph when he got extension out front and worked on top of the baseball. Right-handed hitter, starts with a narrow base using a smaller stride into contact. The hands work tight to the body getting the barrel to the inner half of the baseball allowing him to create line drive type contact to the pull side when he is on time and at contact out front. Excellent student.
