Eli Scoggins is a 2025 RHP/OF with a 6-1 165 lb. frame from Spencer, TN who attends Van Buren County. Eli Ran a 7.49 Sixty Yard Dash. Scoggins has a tall long lean frame with plenty of more room to grow and strength to fill. Primary Right Handed Pitcher he works with a right above the belt leg lift while landing slightly open. There was plenty of aggression in the lower half as he gains ground well down the slope. His hands start low and shift to chest high at leg lift. Eli works with a mid 3/4s arm action while throwing a low 80s fastball with some late life to it. The curveball showed more of a two plane break to it with some depth at times. In the outfield Eli sits back and waits for the ball while getting inline with the bag and fielding it to the side. He showed a clean glove to hand transfer with some carry on his throws and accuracy as well. Right handed hitter starts with a medium slightly open base with a good handset. The hands stay high at load as he works a slightly downward swing path occasionally slicing the baseball. The lower half works aggressive with a clean weight transfer and load. Eli was named to the 2022 Nashville Prospect Showcase Top Team List.

Swing Efficiency™
Swing Efficiency™ is a score from 0-100 based on how fast you move your body compared to other players of a similar height and weight. Our library of over 10,000 hitters shows that for a given body type, higher swing efficiencies generate higher exit velos. PG All-American Arjun Nimmala may only weigh 170 lbs, but he can still hit 103MPH off a tee thanks to his elite Swing Efficiency™.
